Thanks to all those who commented on the updated Neighbourhood Plan. All your comments have been reviewed and the revised Plan has now been submitted to Cheshire East for examination.

The Marton Neighbourhood Plan was made in 2016, before the adoption of the Cheshire East Local Plan. We have therefore prepared an updated Plan in line with current planning guidelines.
Marton Parish Council invited comments on the proposals in this pre-submission version of the Plan, before it was submitted to Cheshire East Council for formal consideration.
The consultation opened for comment on 7th September 2020, and the deadline for comments ended at 5pm on 19th October 2020. Please download the documents below to read the updated Plan, the updated Landscape and Settlement Character Assessment, and the details on how to comment.
