To fall in line with the requirements of the AGAR Assertion 10 (“Digital and Data Compliance”) requiring parish and town councils to prove they manage data securely and lawfully, moving beyond mere policy documentation to active compliance, the Parish Council are making the below changes.
- The Parish Council are now registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office as of March 2026.
- The Parish Council have a new IT policy and an updated Freedom of Information Policy, which are available in the 2025 – 2026 documents.
- The Parish Council have published an accessibility statement, which can be found in “News.”
- The Parish Council Clerk can now be contacted on clerk@martonparish.gov.uk. If the e-mail does not transmit, please contact the Clerk on the old Gmail address, as this will still be monitored.
